Koi Builder (Installer) on Tuesday 18 January, 2011 Product Rating: Review: Save your money, these things are a mess. They fall apart and float all over the place. You are better off going to the 99 cent store and getting a bunch of scrubbie pads and cutting them up. It will be cheaper and last longer and work every bit as well. Armin Yassif (Hobbyist) on Tuesday 11 January, 2011 Product Rating: Review: cheap, easy to clean and lots of surface area. Don't expect them to last more then a few years, like all sponge material they will fall apart after awhile. But these work well for what they are. Frank Stephen (Retail Dealer) on Monday 29 November, 2010 Product Rating: Review: worthless little things. They degrade very quickly and expect to find little bits of sponge flushing through your system and either clogging up your pump or your skimmer. I stocked them for about a year but had too many complaints so I stopped selling them.

Alex Ramirez (Installer) on Wednesday 27 October, 2010 Product Rating: Review: These give tones of surface area, but they are very difficult to clean. I would use at the very end of the filter system as additional bio media and not as primary mechanical filtration. To many little little pieces that get filled with muck and sludge to use for mechanical.
