amazing set of books! Great for education purposes, but also so beautiful they work as coffee table books as well. 4 out of 5 stars only because they are so expensive.

cheap, easy to clean and lots of surface area. Don't expect them to last more then a few years, like all sponge material they will fall apart after awhile. But these work well for what they are.

The media is great, but the size is too big so the sq ft of surface area per cu ft of media is less then other types and much less then the K1. But I can see it working well for particular applications.

I had this meter for over 5 years before it finally died and I replaced it with the same model. I am sure the only reason it died was from years of abuse and neglect. I never rinsed or even cleaned it and only changed the batteries once. Very accurate and reliable.

I used this for 1 full season, basically until the gallon ran out. I didn't see any real difference in the water or koi health. To be fair there was nothing wrong to begin with and I had no additional problems while using it. So its hard to say for sure if it really did anything or not.

I used to use this as my dechlor, but switched to the aquameds product. This product costs a bit more and doesn't do all the things that the aquameds product does. Don;t get me wrong, the chloramX is a great dechlor, one fo the best on the market and one of the cheapest, just not quite as good as aquameds. But its a closer runner up.

I have had had one of these for the past 5 years and it has held up like a champ! I have set it up and taken it down at least 50 times. Not one leak (knock on wood) and all the seams and pvc parts have held up very well. It's very expensive when compared to other tanks, but it's well worth it.

Not that easy to apply for the average user. I had problems with it peeling off because I did not take the extra time to prep the surface (I found this out later). You MUST use their products to clean and primer the surface.

One of my favorite broad spectrum parasite treatments. I like it because you can safely treat the entire pond without harming the bio filter. If you have bacterial infections as well as parasites, then I suggest Minn Finn rather then this. But if you simply see the koi showing signs of stress from parasites, then 9 times out of 10, this will nip the problem in the bud.

Very effective ointment. I use it on my dogs as well. My only concern with it is the need to dry the infected area before applying. That's fine the first time you apply it, but as new skin grows the process of drying it and remove the fragile new skin. It would be better if it could be applied wet, but then it just washes away as soon as you put the koi back.

I bought this with my wave pump. The filter outlasted the pump which died after three years. But the filter still works pretty well. The blower that comes with it is a piece of junk, after about 10 back washes it died. You literally can't run it for more then 30 seconds or it will overheat and shut off. But the filter is well built and backwashes easily.

I got this specifically because I was told it works with a submersible pump. It works well and did a fine job on my small goldfish pond. But I don't think my pump was powerful enough to really backwash the filter. Its supposed to have some sort of agitator, but after a year I opened it up and found it very full of sludge that built up over time.

I was a good pump for about 3 years. No problems and quiet efficient operation. Then it started making a grinding noise for a few months and it finally died. It was out of warranty so no help from the manufacturer on a replacement. I had already bought a back up pump a year earlier so I just used that and found the flow to be the same and watts less using my smaller replacement. These W. Lim pumps are one of the more expensive pumps on the market, I was hoping for a bit longer life then 3 years.

I bought this as a back up pump because the price was right. It sat in a box for a year and then my main pump went out. This was a smaller size motor but the flow rate seemed almost exactly the same so i was impressed with that. My utility bill went down by about $20 a month as well. It was not as quiet but still a decent little pump.
