Every koi pond and water garden owner will need to treat their water for one thing or another. Most everybody with a municipal water source will need to add dechlorinator with every water change. But there is a wide range of water treatments to make our pond healthier and our koi happier.
What products and how much you use is entirely up to you. Just be sure to always follow the manufacturers recommended dosage no matter how safe you think the treatment is.
And yes, it IS possible to over treat and over medicate the water, so always take in consideration all the products you are using and be certain that none of the treatments will have an adverse reaction with anything else you might be using.
