These are big waterfalls. I did a job where I redid the waterfall and put two of these bad boys in. I really like how they came with matala media so I didn't have to replace the usual junk that comes in the filters. It was big enough that I was able to add to large bags of media to each filter. If you need a big waterfall filter, this is a great choice

The first time I installed one of these I had a tough time getting it all straight. It comes in 100 pieces all labeled and its a bit of a puzzle getting it together. Also it was installed only 10 inches above the water level and I still had a heck of a time getting it to prime. It's really a trick making sure every valve, and there are a few of them, is set correctly when you are back washing.

BUT, once you get the hang of it and all the valves settings are memorized, then it becomes a truly wonderful filter system that will provide excellent water quality for very large and heavily stocked ponds.
