This was my first filter I ever owned, since moving up to a bead filter Ultima 2 6,000. This filter would struggle to keep up. Water leaked into my UV housing causing the light to burn out. It was necessary to constantly clean it. It tried hard but really could never keep up! It would be perfect for a small pond maybe 200 gallons with very light fish load , but it certainly won't work well for above that. Make sure to correctly size your filter with your pond. This was the mistake I made when first learning. I since learned filtration is the heart of the pond and you can NOT skimp on it! It will only bring work and heart ache if you do! Over filtration is better than under filtration! I run a 6,000 gallon Ultima 2 bead filter with a 4,000.gallon pond, this works wonderfully! I don't believe these smaller filters are made for larger ponds. They might say up to 2,000 Gallons but its Not the case! Carefully choose your filtration, it will save you time and money in the long run!

Um very happy with my pump, I got the 6,000 I believe, but its whisper quite and works wonderfully! I highly recommend sequence, is really the heart of the pond!

Product Reviewed: Aqua Ultraviolet Classic Series

I own the aqua ultraviolet classic 57 watt,It's inline with my Ultima 2 filter, running with a sequence pump. I highly recommend this unit, especially living in a sunny area where algae can flourish! A good UV unit is a MUST! No matter how good your filtration, the ONLY way to fight algae is with a UV. This is a excellent unit and it really does the trick! I like the fact you can replace the parts, although, not cheap, this is so important! I had broken my glass housing unit for the bulb and was able to replace it by the end of the week! Good as new! You must change your bulbs every year for maximum efficiency! In my experience, a UV is a MUST for clear water especially in sunny locations! This product is excellent and worth every penny of the cost! Less expensive UV products are available, however, they do not compare with this product! You will have many years of clear, healthy water with this UV light and proper filtration. They go hand in hand. I highly recommend this product!

I switched to Tomigai a year ago and fish are growing so well and the colors are AMAZING! The first thing I noticed was the colors start to brighten and look sooo deep and beautiful from this food.Then i noticed their body conformations looking better and bigger! I swear by this food! I wont buy anything else! Try it and see for yourself that this food makes a big difference in your fish! Once you feed it you wont want to switch. I also love that its filled with great probiotics which is good for fish health and immune system. The fish LOVE it too!! In my opinion its the BEST food on the market today. It is worth every penny you pay for it!!

I purchased the Ultima 2 6,000 filter with a sequence pump about a month ago. I have struggled before with keeping my pond water clear after about eight years of water changes too frequent and buying new filter sponges I finally decided to go with the ultima 2 filter. Im glad I made this decision! The Ultima 2 is different from other BEAD filters because it will NOT clump up like they do. It has special bio media that is created in a very special style to prevent clumping and its wonderful! It is pre seeded and you NEVER need to replace the media . The cleaning process is as simple as turing the handle to BACKWASH and RINSE. This sure beats the old sponges I was cleaning out on the lawn for eight years!! Believe me you wont regret this purchase. You will have clean clear water in no time at all!! Its a easy system to maintain and it saves you a lot of headache!! Your fish will thank you also. I know its a expensive purchase but honestly it is worth every penny!! I highly recomend it

Excellent food! since I've been feeding with this food the fishes colors have gotten brighter and my fish have grown ! you won't believe the differenc! try this food for yourselves and see what a big difference it makes in your fish! I won't feed anything else! This food is amazing! Its made in the USA and is always very fresh! My fish are noticeable more healhy and vibrant since I've switched to Tomigai. This is definitely a super food! it is well worth the cost! Reading the label of ingredients you can see the difference immediately! Notice all the vitamins and healthy ingredients in this food, its far superior to the other name brand foods. The difference in my fish is incredible! I highly recommended Tomigai foods.They have a variety of various food for different needs throughout the seasons. I trust the Tomigai formulas for my fishes health and Wellness. This is an excellent product.

I switched over to this food about seven months ago and since I've been feeding with Tomigai my fishes colors have became brighter and they have gained weight! my fish have never looked so beautiful! my fish just love the taste of the food and have been more active since feeding. I am a believer in Tomigai koi food! I won't feed anything else now! They have different blends that are for different tims of the year and I switch for my fishes needs.I will never feed anything else now! Its made such a incredible difference in my fish I highly recommended thus food! Its made right here in the USA and its always fresh when you receive it! This is an excellent food.Try it for yourselves and you will SEE the differences in your fish! Its truely amazing!
