I purchased this unit a couple months ago. I have been very pleased with it thus far! I had a severe algae bloom with "pea soup" algae taking over my pond that I just built last year. I noticed an improvement within two days and by the end of 3 weeks my water was once again crystal clear! The unit worked exactly as advertised. The only thing that I had trouble with is that when it destroyed the algae, the algae kept clogging my submersible pump to the point that it would barely pump at all. I had to buy a solid handling pump and would highly recommend that you purchase a solid handling pump first if you have algae trouble and are considering this unit. It will save you a lot of time!
