Saki-Hikari Growth is quite expensive. However, it's a great growth koi food that will add size and girth to the koi without fat deposit on the tummy area. In the warm season, I've used it with the wheat germ to fed about 6-8 times a day. If you koi can eat, they will add 6-8" in length within 6 months. Not recommended for inexpensive koi! Use that money to buy a nice koi, instead.

Saki-Hikari color brings out the bright colors of red and orange. It also gives the koi a very shiny luster. However, too much will leaves yellow patches on shiro-utsuri (even though the co. says the food will not have any affect on the shiro. These stains will disappear if you discontinue feeding. Do not feed this to ki utsuri (yellow & black) koi because the yellow will turn orange to bright orange. This can be fed once to twice a day in the warm season when feeding up of 5-8 times a day is allowed. So I would mix it with the wheat germ. Great product if you have the money for!
