I am super pleased with my skimmer. I does a great job. There is never anything floating on the top of the pond and the fish have never gotten stuck in it. It's super easy to clean, except for the pine needles getting stuck in the pad. I put some quilt batting in the basket as we had a serious bloom and it has done a fantastic job, cleaned it up in 3 days. I also use a submersible pump. This is our first pond and hubby had no problems installing this. Great directions.
