a little bit goes a loooooong way. One table spoon will dechlor my entire pond. Very cheap too. Most places sell it for under $5 a pound which lasts forever.

I keep several pounds of this on hand at all times. by far the cheapest method for removing chlorine from tap water. Its the base ingredient for most chlorine removers on the market. The smallest amount will remove chlorine from hundreds of gallons. It will not remove ammonia, so if you have high levels of chloramines, then you may see a spike in ammonia once this product removes the chlorine. but unless you are doing a major water change, ST will work fine. For water changes over 20% I would use a product that also removes ammonia.

water here in Hawaii has very little chlorine so don't need much. But this is the cheapest to remove chlorine and works the best. koi dont like chlorine. very bad for their gills. this gets it out.

A great product and the most economical one I am aware of.I use it for all my partial water changes after my bio-filters have cycled. At least those of 25% or less. I have never had a problem with it although our water supply does have chloramines in it. I also agree that it should not be used alone for large water changes with chloramines present. With only chlorine in the water supply, I would use it for 100% of the water changes. It also makes a cheap reversal of potassium permanganate treatments.

by far the cheapest form of dechlorinator. You can dechlor hundreds of gallons for pennies. But it is ONLY for chlorine. If you have chloramines then it will release the ammonia into the pond. So not good for large water changes if you have chloramines. Otherwise its the cheapest and most effective dechlor on the market.
