I apply the powder directly to the wounds and they heal up faster then any other product I have ever used. Do NOT let any of it get in your pond though, it will wipe out the good bacteria.

I have had a lot of success with this powder. I couldn't get it to work as a dip, but when i set up a QT and leave the koi in their for 48 hours I have seen remarkable results. After 24 hours I do a big water change and then redose. Like most antibacterial products you can't let it have any contact with your pond, so you have to use it as a dip or a bath. I like to use it as a 2 day bath because you don;t have to catch up the koi over an over to treat them.

This is an older antibiotic that fishery's used. I keep straight Oxolinic acid for dips, what this has in. Fish don't seem to struggle as much as in this as they do tricide.

Oxolonic Acid has healed open wounds on fish I have treated in a QT environment. This product, used as directed, works very well and noticable improvement was observed in just a few sort days.

Good product as used for dips for treating ulcers. Best if used during early stages of infections as later stages of infections would require injectables as well.
