I disagree with the first post. I love my greenfree sterilizer. The casing is steel and very sturdy. Mine has worked flawlessly for three years. The only catch is that the barbed hose connections are slightly different OD than commercial hose barbs in US. May need a foot of PVC tubing from hardware store and a few hose clamps to properly attach. Other wise, the sterilizer rocks

I see a lot of these on the ponds I repair and service. They are very light weight plastic and not very sturdy. They are usually not operational after several years of use, which is when they call me. They seem to be very common with those that built their own ponds.
