bought it last year and got my pond up and running then less than 2 months and it was dead.... what a bad pump!!!! had to get another one and it sure wasnt another cal pump???

I can't count how many of these I have had to replace over the years. As an installer and pond builder I come across a lot of pumps and I have never seen one of these last for then 1 year.

I added one star stricktly due to the price point. Sidenote* Cal Pump DOES NOT SELL A PUMP WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY!!!

This pump is very strong. They are cheap to buy. Really sucks from the bottom. Draw back is it cloggs easily. Also I had to have two replaced in two years.

i would never buy another Cal Pump. the last one i got was over $300, i was tired of replacing pumps every year so i got this one and it was warranteed for 5 years, IT LASTED LESS THEN 3 MONTHS! then i h had to go through the hassle of returning, etc. then i chose my replacement, a fountain as i didn't want another of their pumps, they sent me a pump anyway.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a Cal pump.

Sorry....not too thrilled with this pump. I had one once in my old pond and it lasted less than a year.
