I'm interested in the differences between the Pondovac3 and the Pondovac4. I have gone to the Oase website and and they don't even list the Pondovac4, only the Pv3!! Very strange. Have their been any problems with the PV4??
Any help would be appreciated.

I have the pond o vac 4, not the 3. I don't think you can even buy the 3 anymore. But the 4 is great! Very powerful and I love how it never stops sucking because of the dual chamber.

This is standard in my truck as I go around cleaning ponds. Work at depths over 4 feet very well and its great that I don;t have to stop and drain it. I clean quite a few ponds and need something that works quickly and I don;t have to mess around with. Recently upgraded to the pond o vac 4 and it is a superior vac to the 3.

works just as advertised. Picks up leaves pine needles and mulm and also does my water change in the process. Never have to stop vacuuming to empty. I wish the outlet hose were a little longer but it is adequate. Really helped me to keep the pond clean with minimum effort. Very satisfied!

I love my Pond o Vac 3. I use it on the koi pond (shhh - I don't have bottom drains) I use it on the goldie pond.
The chambers switch back and forth so you don't have to stop to empty.
The only problem I ever had was the accidental kinking of the hose. Oh and I broke one of the accessories.
Easy to clean, easy to put up and when my friends borrow, I bleach in between.

Well a properly built koi pond does not need one of these.
Well my first pond wasn't built so perfect. I bought cheap vacs that were useless and when pondovac 3 came out I bought it. I was very satisfied with its performance.
I've upgraded my pond and now I don't use it but it stays busy through the year for my water gardening friends always borrows it.
