I clean over 30 ponds a week. I can use this on any pond where the home has good water pressure. Those with weak pressure or a regulator then i have to use my vac. But I like this because its easy to move around and does a very good job. It does waste a lot of water though.

I really like this vac. Its almost too powerful. I was told you need high water pressure to make this work and I have very high pressure when i bypass my regulator for the house. this little thing sucks everything up, even my mosquito fish. Plus it was like $200 less then a regular pond vac.

Either I didn't use it right or I didnt' have enough water pressure or my pond was too deep but I wasn't impressed. Bought the Pond o Vac 3 to clean the bottoms.

This product works only if you hose pressure is well above 50 psi. It must be above 50 psi to take the vac to deeper water. It is also bulky to push and pull around the hose and the vacume attachment together and you are constantly having to stop to move hoses. For the cost go get a good wet/dry shop vac, it does a better job.

Review:
This Vacuum is great, there is no algae left in the pond after I have used it. Although the efficiency depends on your water pressure, if you have a high amount then this product is for you. The only flaw I could see is the short drain for the algae to go, it would be nice if it was a bit longer. The brush attachment makes it easy to get out all the dead algae out of the bottom.
