Great little add on for my pond. I already had a skimmer and a bottom drain but the leaves on the other end of the pond never seemed to make it over to the skimmer. So I set up a small pump and ran it to this. It really does a good job and its easy to clean. The only issue is you need to be mindful of your water level, this only lets you have a few inches of play. If the water level is too high the center sleeve comes out, if its too low, then it runs dry.

I use this in my pond all year long and add it every time I refill after a backwash. I have a lot of rock in my pond and the koi get injured frequently. But ever since I started using this the injuries never get infected. It's a top shelf product and I will continue to use it. Well wortt the money because it is a LOT cheaper then treating infections

Lots and lots of air, it actually surprised me how much air I was able to get from this pump. But its not really all that quiet, so make sure you put it someplace you won't hear it.

tiny little pump, it is of no use in my large pond but it does work for my quarantine tank that is only 200 gallons. But as a permanent air pump for a large pond, you will need to get a much bigger unit. Also, it doesn't have any air at all any deeper then about 4 feet.

I have the solar powered unit. It only works when its in full sun, if its in the shade then no food is dispensed. At first it was frustrating because it would only work sometimes. I had to move it around the pond several times until I found a spot that was sunny at the times I wanted it to feed. But I finally got it figured out and haven't had any problems since. i think if they used a higher quality solar panel and/or battery then it wouldn't be a problem.

These kinds work, but you need to keep them clean. Once they get covered in debris then everything just passes by them. Its nice that they never clog or prevent water from flowing, but they pretty much do nothing if they are too dirty.

I decided to go top of the line with my UV and I do no regret it one bit. I was worried about a plastic UV because overtime they might fail. So the stainless steel body of the Matala unit was just what I wanted. it cost a pretty penny but worth every cent. It handles my high volume and keeps my water looking perfect.

Only kinda worked for my green water algae. It took a few weeks and then I noticed maybe 50% improvement and i could kinda see the fish again. The pellets did help because as soon as I quit using them the water went back to the way it was. I finally broke down and got a UV which had the water super clear in less then a week. No more barley for me.

In my opinion this is the best water treatment on the market. I use a lot of it and have been using it for almost 10 years. I simply will not use anything else.

I had a big problem with flukes so I did some internet research and learned Prazi is the way to go. So I ordered this online and after three treatments the problems the flukes were gone. The stuff is not cheap and I had to treat my entire pond, over 10,000 gallons. But it worked!

Complete waste of money. Died after only a few months. Its the cheapest pump available and there is a reason for this. Spend a little more and get a decent pump

I have been relatively happy with this food, the koi seem to like it a lot. its a cold water food but I use it year round. The price is good and my local pet shop carries it so its easy to keep on hand.
