I was shocked at how quickly my water cleared. I added it at night and by the morning it was crystal clear. My only problem was how little it treated, the entire bottle treats less then 1000 gallons. I had to use 3 bottles, but it worked. I think it better for aquariums then ponds.

ChloramX is the only dechlor I have ever used or ever will use. One 5 pound bucket lasts me the entire year and it does a great job. One scoop knocks out all the chlorine in my tap and if i ever test any ammonia a couple scoops and its gone. Very good product, money well spent.

I upgraded to this UV and was very happy. Well made, very strong materials and the unions are thick and durable. I got the one with the wiper blade. That doesn't work all that well, but it only cost $10 to get it with the wiper, so no big loss.

Not all the well made. the plastic is cheap and the fittings aren't all that strong. Although it worked well for over 2 years it was never really a very solid UV. I upgraded to an Aqua UV and it was a much better UV.

This has been a very good skimmer for me. I had to remove the grate/weir on the front because it clogged all the time. My fish were big enough to stay out anyway. But it installed very easily and was really made tough and thick. I get a lot of leaves and this handles the high flow of my pump and never clogs except when I have heavy leaves in the fall.

Review:
I got rid of the loose fill media in my skimmer (very bad choice) and put in the pads. These ones from pondmaster worked very well. They trapped a lot of sludge and were very easy to clean with a hose. The problem was after about a year they fell apart on me. I cleaned them every week with a hose so i am sure that had something to do with it.

Product Reviewed: BioMate Foam Filled
Product Rating:
Review:
I used these for awhile in a mesh bag in my skimmer. That was a bad place to put them as they got filled with sludge and were impossible to clean. This is one of those types of media that has to be after the main mechanical filter because they can't be cleaned easily and are worthless when covered in sludge. I gave it to my sister because she was willing to open up each ball and clean the foam pieces inside and she has it in her waterfall, after her main filter and has a much easier time with it.

I keep these on hand just in case the power goes out or something happens to the pond and I get a big spike in ammonia. These keep things under control until the filter can get back up to speed. I usually put a few in every time I go out of town, just to be on the safe side. They work very well and reducing ammonia. The only problem is the can't be cleaned, you have to either let them dissolve over time or throw them away once they get mucked up. If they get covered in bio film and you remove them from the pond, they can;t be used again.

I use this up in my waterfall as additional bio filtration. Its not all that easy to clean so I put it after my main filtration so it stays clean. Give lots of surface area and grew a nice thick bio film very quickly.

This is another product from Koi Care that I simply cannot find anymore. I used to use this all the time and I really liked it a lot. My koi lobed it when I would add it to their food. It increased the feeding frenzy a great deal.

My local koi shop carried a lot of koi care items for a number of years, but they don't anymore so I haven't used this product in awhile. But when I did it worked very well on my fin rot problems and the koi usually healed up quickly.

I bought this online because several koi had fungus issues. I decided to treat the entire pond. It took several weeks and a second shipment of more product, but it finally got under control.

I had my water tested for dissolved solids by out local koi club health adviser. She suggested this product to help keep dissolved solids under control. She came back a month later after I had been using it and she said there was a significant improvement. Of course I could never tell the difference, but she said I was better off now so i guess that's a good thing.

Been feeding blackwater gold for 4 years. Over that time I have seen koi grow from 6" to over 26" inches. Great colors and big fat bodies. Even won several awards at my local koi shows! I owe it all to this food.

Very happy with this light. It hasn't had any problems for over 3 years. Its LED so none of the lights ever burned out and it hasn't leaked or lost any of its brightness. It had a bit of a harsh bluish light at first, but actually over time it turned more yellow as bio film grew over the top.

This is my most recent pond purchase. I could not be happier! I upgraded to this filter 6 months ago and its the best thing I ever got for the pond! Its does an amazing job with the backwash because of the blower and my water has never been this clean and healthy. Its really well built and the valve is very strong and solid.

I had the laguna pump and filter combo set up for a couple of years before I enlarged the pond. The pump was great, the filter worked well too but it was a bit hard to clean the sponges. Ever with the scrub bars and backwash I found I still needed to open it up at least once a month and clean the sponges with the hose. But other then that it was still a great little filter for my small pond and it was very easy to hook up.

I increased the pond size 2 years later and gave the laguna system to my sister who is still using it and loves it.

When I got rid of the pump in my skimmer and put in a bottom drain I got this pump because it had a low purchase cost. For the money I am very happy with the pump. It has been running solid for over a year and is still very quiet and giving very good flow. I think this pump is a great choice for those looking to save a little money.

I had one of these in my skimmer for years. It never clogged as was running all day every day without any problems. I don;t remember the exact wattage, but it was very reasonable and didn't increase my utility bill very much at all. It had great flow and handled my 10 ft water fall no problems.
