A great overall system. I can't imagine anything better for a large pond. It is a snap to set up because it comes pre plumbed and labeled. Just hook up the in and the out and you are ready to roll. I would rank this system in the top five filter systems available in the market today.

I got this instead of the regular aqua UV because the twist made it so much easier to install. I have a bit of a crazy mess with my plumbing and having options to install the UV made it a lot easier.

clogged way to easily. It died because it ran dry when it clogged. To its credit it had to clog numerous times before it died, but I just don't have time to deal with a pump that clogs so fast. Submersible pumps need to either be able to handle solids or not burn out if they clog. If they can't do those two things then they aren't worth the money.

I tried this once to see what it would do. I found out...nothing. Nothing other then turn my water, and my hand, blue for a few days. It didn't do anything for algae which is what most people use the blue coloring for.

This is my standard test kit that I use when I want a complete and accurate set of tests done. It was not very expensive and it has always been reliable and easy to use. Its also one of the more popular test kits it seems and its very easy to get replacement bottles when you run out or they get old.

I like to have these on hand for a quick snapshot of my pond water. I use my reagent test kit when I want a more accurate test, but these are quick and easy and I found them to be pretty reliable with an acceptable margin of error.

Great combo meter. It does need to be calibrated every now and then and you need to store the probe properly. But its been a much used tool in my pond and I have been very happy with it.

Review:
I actually used one of these for my swimming pool when my regular skimmer started to leak. So I rigged up a bypass over the side of the pool and hooked it up to one of these. The basket is a bit small and can't handle too many leaves before it clogs up, that's why I gave it 4 stars, but it was easy to install and worked perfectly for what I needed.

Review:
I have been using this for years on my koi pond and I think its the best filter Matala makes. The vortex design really gets all the debris out of the water. It's an expensive filter but not when compared to other vortex units out there. Juts be careful not to pump the water through too fast, but thats true with all vortex filters.

This just works ok. It's fine for getting debris out of a QT or something, but its a real pain to clean the bottom of a 3 ft pond one little bit at a time. If just a few leaves then ok, but if you have a lot of sludge at the bottom, this won;t do much for you.

This was a very nice waterfall. It works great on my koi pond and adds a lot of extra filtration. Its a bit big and hard to hide, but I made it work. it was also a little tricky getting the liner to attach to the body, but so far it has been trouble free.

Been using this food for years. Very happy with it and the koi eat it quickly. Not as expensive either which is nice. I can't see spending more for koi food then my own food and this food works nicely for my koi and my budget.

This was the cheapest koi net I could find. It works great, not sure anybody would spend so much money on those fancy nets that do the same thing.

I drop a few of these into the pond every couple of months. I used to have issues with flukes and could never seem to get it under control until I started using these on a regular basis and a year later I haven't had any more problems.

I use this every time I need to move or transport the koi, put them into QT or just calm them down in general. It doesn't have the slime coat replacers like other products that can coat the gills. This is one of those product I just simply keep on hand at all times because I never know when I will need it.

This is a great UV upgrade to their skimmer. I love how they don't need a quartz sleeve, just one less thing to break. I got the skimmer without the UV and it was a snap to add the UV later.
