I subtracted a star due to the cost of operation. These are great pumps to run in a pondless waterfall set-up. Their solids handling capabilities mean that the pump will need to be serviced less often.

I added one star stricktly due to the price point. Sidenote* Cal Pump DOES NOT SELL A PUMP WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY!!!

We have installed MANY of these pumps. The PWM series is MUCH better than it's sister series, the PW. I think that the PWM series sometimes gets a bad rap due to the common failures of the PW series. DO NOT be confused when making a pump purchase. BUY PWM!!!
