This air pump worked great until it blew up after 16 months of use. It was under cover, ventilated and above water level. It should have continued running for many years. I sent it to Alita for repairs and they lost the package! They finally found it under some other boxes. Alita is not going to cover it's warranty but will fix it for $180. I'm not sure it's worth it!
