I have been very happy with the effectiveness of MinnFinn. As others have stated, you have to be careful as it will wipe out your bio filter, but its really a very effective product. I have used it twice now with excellent results.

This is another product that works so well that it will kill your bio filter if not used properly. So be careful and make sure you completely bypass all filtration until it is completely neutralized. I guess if it didn't harm the filtration then it wouldn't really be doing anything, so the fact that you must bypass the filter proves it really is working. There are other products that make the same claims this one does but say they won't harm the filter...those don't ever do a dang thing for the koi from what I have seen. Minn Finn lives up to the hype and truly helps heal the koi.

I use this product whenever I have koi in a pond that makes it impossible to catch them like something with lots of deep hiding places. Or if there are simply so many koi that are sick that I simply need to treat the whole pond rather then just pulling out one or two. Minn Finn is one of the very few products on the market that actually works as a pond wide treatment. Most product that claim you can just dump it in the pond and it will solve all the koi's health problems are usually a waste of money. But Minn Finn actually works, and works well. Just be careful, it can wipe out your biofilter, so you need to rig up a bypass. But that's also how you know its working. Anything that claims to kill bad bacteria and heal infections but is safe for your biofilter probably doesn't work very well.

I tried this one for some bacterial infections and it cleared up the problem. I didn't have to catch the fish or anything. And with a 5 ft deep, 5000 gallon pond, catching the fish is hard, so it was nice just to be able to treat the entire pond. Usually pond wide treatments don't do much, but this one actually works...yay!

I am really very happy with this product. I had some parasite issue and some ulcers right along with them. My koi were a mess and I am sure they would have died if it weren;t for this stuff. Not sure which parasite I had, but the koi were flashing, so we all know what that means! MinnFinn not only got rid of the parasite but went right to work on the bacterial infections too. Three treatment and two weeks later and the koi were doing MUCH better!!! Its really pretty amazing stuff.

This stuff ROCKS!! It is one of the few products out there that actually do all the things it says it does. You do have to be careful and have the reverse agent on hand. Its not your standard over the counter product where you can just dump a bunch in and not worry too much about it. You need to measure properly. But it really will knock out parasites and treats bacterial infections. Not the cheapest product out there, but you get what you pay for.
