Medo Pump Technology
The Linear-motor-driven Free Piston System (Pat.) has an internal piston inside the cylinder which is driven by an electro-magnet and spring system controlled by the alternating input current cycle. The piston thus forms a single combined structure of two usually different devices; motor and pump. The system is quiet and vibration free, and offers the advantages of easy maintenance and a long operating life.

This is a solid air pump and has given me over 5 years of great air flow. Really have nothing to complain about. Quiet, efficient and reliable.

Very good air pump! Quiet and gives plenty of air. I use it to run my bottom drain, 3 air stones and another diffuser in my K1 tank. I added the K1 tank later and wasn't sure if I would need a second pump. So I added a new line from this and never lost any air flow to my bottom drain. Highly recommend

I use the 80 on a DIY fluid bed filter. Tons of air, very quite. I really like this pump. I also us a 120 for my aerated bottom drains. Both pumps have been great!!!
