It does what it is supposed to do, remove chlorine. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't treat as much for the money when compared to other brands.

As always MicrobeLift makes another GREAT product. I highly recommend this. I add it just before adding water to my pond. The chlorine readings remained at ZERO!
