Ran very well and didn't use up much electricity which is why i got it. It didn't handle my head very well so after a year I went with a larger Performance Pro pump and it got the water much higher for the sames watts.

This pump has gotten a bit noisier over the years, but it is still running great so I have no complaints. If it gets too much louder though I will probably replace it. But right now its not as loud as the waterfall so that's fine.

This pump is good for open gravity filters. Was installed for a holding tank to house 5 large koi. Super quiet operation and good flow. Not a good application if you have a large amount of head. We used this on a flooded suction and worked very well
