These are attractive because of the price point. They will also run for many years. I have had them online for over 3 years and they are still going strong without a single problem. Not sure I believe their claims of low wattage, but I have never tested to be sure. The numbers just seem too good to be true. Heard the same from others as well.

Pump makes noise, mot much, but the metal back which protects the fan, sometimes touches the fan and makes sounds. I have an ES4500 its seems to pump a fair amount of water, but also take a fair amount of electricity, after switching from a one hundred dollar mag drive submersible pump, to this three hundred dollar unit, i was hoping for my investment back in energy savings, but i did not get much. The ES4500 supposed to take in the ball bark of 180 watts, when i purchased it, the specs sticker already said 207 watts. Which seems fine from the 600 watt pump i had so i though i would have it cheap. I plugged it in and my electricity bill was around thirty nine dollars higher, to my calculations with my current charges, it supposed to take around eight teen dollars a month of operation. Its i nice pump for simple jobs, like to a low head filter, under 3' high, or for TPR's, but for higher jobs, something more heave duty wold be better.

These are new in the industry, only a few years in. So its hard to say how long they will last in real world applications, however they come with a pretty good warranty. Far less expensive then most other brands which makes them appealing. But these are probably one of the loudest external pumps on the market and the watt usage is not as good as they state it to be.

Nice pump for the money. Much less expensive then other brands and the watts and flow are the same. I did notice after about 6 months it wasn't as quiet as it used to be, but the flow rate stayed the same. Time will tell if this pump can last a long time, but the warranty is pretty long so I am not too worried about it.

Takes a while to receive if you buy from someone that gets it directly from manufacture. Manufacture has a good warranty system and can replace it within a decent amount of time. Good customer service but I received my pump DOA and they seem to use alot more wattage then listed.

Review:
just bought the 8500 model for my shower filter.
It works greater and save some energy compare with sequence 7800 self prim pump,
the only drain back is it is not self prim.
so I have to put a check valve in front of the pump which is sample.

Purchased this unit from fancykoioutlet for best price. Got it when it was first introduced into the market that has the emerson motor. Good flow, and super quiet. Cons: listed watts say 143 watts. Kill-a-watt meter reads 229 watts. If I only knew the wattage, i would have not purchased this pump. I got an iron might pump that works just as good for 1/3 the price and watts are super low
